We have dockside parking for our customers. Due to limited parking please no more than 2 vehicles per boat.
When selecting a rental time, please remember we ask you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time to check-in. Please arrive back at the dock 15 minutes prior to your return time to give you time to debark your boat so that we can get the next customer out on time. A late charge of $125 will be assessed if you are late back to the dock.

Boating Safety

  • Each person operating or riding a kayak must wear a U.S.C.G-approved personal flotation device (PFD).

  • Any child under the age of ten (10) is required to wear an approved life jacket at all times while in a boat.

Alcohol is allowed on the boat.

Minnesota law prohibits operating or being in actual physical control of a motorboat while intoxicated by drugs or alcohol. A person can be convicted of boating while intoxicated (BWI) (also called “boating under the influence”) for operating a motorboat while:

impaired by alcohol or drugs to an extent that the person does not “possess that clearness of intellect and that control … that the [person] otherwise would have,” or
having a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .08% or greater.
In other words, you can get a BWI for operating a boat with an excessive blood alcohol concentration or while drunk or high on drugs.

Responsible use of alcoholic beverages is required. If it’s illegal off the water, it’s illegal on the water.
